Starting in April 2021

Age 6-18 and want to try ski racing?

 

We’ve an exciting opportunity at Pontypool Ski Racing Club for local skiers.

 

Thanks to the support of Torfaen Leisure Trust we are able to provide a subsidised 3 week training programme for prospective new entrants. Your first training session will be free, and the following 2 sessions will be at a discounted rate.

To apply you must be able to use the lift at the top of the slope and to ski top to bottom, in control, with linked turns.

​

Priority will be given to Torfaen residents but the programme is open to all.

​

After the 3 week course you have the opportunity to discuss joining teamPSR as a full member and get more involved in ski racing!

The sessions will run alongside 3 consecutive Saturday morning PSR training sessions between 10am and midday.  Maximum 6 participants per 3 week course. The total cost for the 3 sessions is £32 to be paid in advance, but refunded after the first (free) session if you decide it's not for you.
